What You Will Be Doing
- Monitoring cost budgets
- Conducting preparatory cost studies
- Performing variance analyses / data analysis / productivity
- Developing recommendations for countermeasures
- Preparing cost-to-complete analyses (forecasting)
- Preparing provisions
- Preparing and conducting monthly review and performance meetings
- Communication and preparation of monthly reports for internal and external stakeholders
What You Bring To The Job
- Successfully completed studies in the field of industrial engineering or technical business administration
- Several years of relevant work experience in cost engineering
- Do you have experience in controlling of technical installations
- In-depth knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel) and SAP
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
- Analytical and strategic thinking
- Team spirit, assertiveness and a high level of negotiation skills
- Strong resilience and flexibility in solving / completing objectives and deadlines
- english: C1 – Advanced
- dutch: B2 – Upper Intermediate
Nice-to-Haves
- Prior experience in the energy, chemical, or oil & gas sectors
- Familiarity with plant-engineering or infrastructure projects
- german: B2 – Upper Intermediate
