Ajinomoto Cambrooke was founded by parents looking to develop better solutions for their children with PKU. Ever since, the company expanded into additional therapeutic areas, with a focus on enjoyable nutrition as a core part of normalizing the life for people living with medical conditions. 

In your position, you will drive Cambrooke revenue and enhance Cambrooke’s reputation with medical professionals in your assigned territory, identify and cultivate lead opportunities and work closely with the Director of Sales in annual budget development.💪🏼

The salary range for this position is $95,400-$120,000 plus 30% bonus potential.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Meet sales expectations in the assigned clinics within company policy guidelines
  • Develop relationships with healthcare professionals in targeted segments (e.g., Metabolic, Ketogenic, GI/Allergy)
  • Solidify Cambrooke as a trusted partner in patient care
  • Set, monitor and optimize a business plan that includes, but is not limited to, regional and clinic strategies and field activities that build acceptance and usage of Cambrooke’s portfolio of medical food formulas.
  • Cultivate and identify lead opportunities
  • Build and improve clinical competence of the disease states and conditions for the products
  • Work collaboratively with Cambrookecare to identify DME providers and follow-up with clinicians as needed
  • Identify formulary needs for successful inclusion (e.g., State programs, WIC, Medicaid)
  • Work collaboratively with other Territory Managers and Clinical Specialists. Utilize all selling resources and demonstrate cross-functional collaboration with other support departments and associates to optimize overall performance and ability to succeed
  • Control territory expenses within budget and assist the Director of Sales in annual budget development
  • Participate in marketing events (seminars, trade shows, telemarketing)
  • Coordinate shipping schedules and delivery of merchandise and services. 
  • Provide on-the-job training to new sales employees. - 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

What You Bring To The Job

  • BA/BS Degree in business, marketing, dietetics, nutrition, or a related healthcare area of study
  • Several years of experience in medical sales, clinical nutrition, medical devices, related nursing or pharmaceuticals
  • Previous RD clinical, management or industry experience
  • Previous experience with Customer Relationship databases
  • Excellent follow through skills and ability to overcome obstacles
  • Strong work ethic and drive to deliver results
  • Strong Self Starter with the ability to work independently without supervision as well as the ability share ideas, knowledge and work as part of a team
  • Strong reasoning, analytical abilities, with a demonstrated history of sound judgement
  • Ability to interact well within a diverse population and work effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to perform multi-faceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities
  • Maintain information security with regard to all company’s proprietary information
  • Travel Requirements: 40% - 60% overnight travel, plus local travel.
  • english: C2 – Proficient

  • Registered Dietitian licensure

About Ajinomoto Cambrooke

Ajinomoto Cambrooke, Inc. formerly Cambrooke Therapeutics, Inc. (expansion of Cambrooke Foods) was founded in 2000 by Lynn and David Paolella, the parents of two children diagnosed with a rare disease called phenylketonuria (PKU). PKU is one of the few genetic diseases, which is managed almost entirely with nutritional intervention. The Paolellas’ goal in forming Cambrooke was simple - to develop improved nutritional therapeutic options for those with serious medical disorders.

Today, Cambrooke produces medical formulas and foods for the management of a variety of medical conditions and we are continually innovating new nutritional options targeted at a wide array of diseases.
