As a recruiting partner of Ajinomoto Cambrooke, we are looking for you as Senior Engineer - Digital Transformation (a) at the location in Ayer, MA.📍
In this role, you will serve as the bridge between strategy and execution: aligning stakeholders, building business cases, and implementing digital solutions across ERP, warehouse management, financial, and operational systems. About one third of your time will be analysis of the processes and opportunities for improvement, another third will be strategic decision making & stakeholder management, and the last third hands-on execution - including automation scripts and system integrations of solutions from the collaborating IT service provider you will manage. ⚙️💻

You can expect a salary range of $116,000 - $150,000 plus 18% bonus potential.

What You Will Be Doing
- Lead digital transformation projects across ERP, WMS, finance, and office operations
- Analyze business processes and design automation to reduce manual work (Python, APIs, scripts)
- Act as key liaison with external IT vendors and offshore developers, providing technical direction and requirements
- Manage domains, servers, and websites where possible; coordinate vendors otherwise
- Develop dashboards, financial & operational reporting, and ensure data accuracy across systems
- Propose and execute new digital initiatives that improve efficiency and scalability
- Partner with leadership to align projects with cost savings and efficiency KPIs
What You Bring To The Job
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field
- Several years of experience in digital strategy, operations, or IT project management
- Strong background in ERP/WMS or related enterprise systems
- Ability to write and maintain Python scripts (Pandas, NumPy, automation workflows)
- Experience with vendor and stakeholder management
- Strategic mindset combined with hands-on problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives
- Knowledge of digital process automation, reporting, and system integrations

Team
You will report directly to the President of ACI and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across Operations, Finance, and IT. While working hands-on, you will also guide external vendors and offshore engineers in delivering technical solutions.
