What You Will Be Doing
- You will take on the technical product development responsibility for the new drone, the 'SD120.'
- You will lead a multidisciplinary engineering team through the entire aircraft design cycle, which includes concept definition, specification, design, integration, testing, validation, and certification
- Oversee design processes, including interdisciplinary trade-offs, optimization, and validation
- Provide expert-level contributions to design processes at all development stages and make cross-disciplinary design decisions
- Collaborate with the development team to address technical challenges and develop effective solutions
- Define and draft requirements for all aircraft systems to ensure alignment with specified criteria and standards
What You Bring To The Job
- Higher education, e.g. in aerospace engineering or systems engineering
- Advanced experience in product development in the areas such as avionic, electrical, data link and mechanical aircraft design and systems
- Multiple years of experience in project management
- Advanced experience in requirements management
- High degree of flexibility and working in a dynamic and growing company
- Willingness to improve company procedures and processes
- english: C1 – Advanced
Nice-to-Haves
- Work experience in the drone industry and experience with corresponding regulatory requirements
- Aircraft Certification experience
- german: B2 – Upper Intermediate
