What You Will Be Doing
- Provide strategic IT guidance to the leadership team
- Development and implementation of a scalable, secure, and cost-effective IT environment
- Continuous alignment of business requirements and IT landscape
- Maintain audit-ready IT documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Management of all aspects of IT operations
- Coordination and overview of external IT service providers for support, hosting, and operational services
- Overview of the technical operation and maintenance of databases critical to scientific and business processes
- Define and maintain IT policies and drive harmonization of systems across departments
- Evaluation and introduction of new technologies, including AI solutions, to improve operational performance
- Establishment of IT security measures, including backup strategies, access policies, and risk mitigation procedures
- Develop vendor management standards and oversee IT-related contracts
- Plan for future IT capacity and talent needs
- Support the validation of systems in regulated (GMP) environments
- Definition of key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) for IT services
What You Bring To The Job
- University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field
- Several years of professional experience in IT infrastructure and operations, with a strong track record of collaborating closely with internal business functions, end users and stakeholders on all levels
- Proven ability to take ownership for meaningful and effective IT projects
- Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on attitude
- Strong problem-solving abilities and high self-motivation
- Ability to handle complex technical matters while also providing hands-on, ad-hoc user support when needed – including VIP and urgent support situations
- Good communication skills and ability to translate technical topics into business value
- Strong collaboration skills across departments and disciplines
- High interest in innovation and digital transformation
- Experience: Management Role

Nice-to-Haves
- Proven experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech or life sciences sector
- Experience with IT compliance (e.g., GxP, data privacy, system validation) is a strong plus
